This traditional sugar and jam thermometer will enable you to achieve consistent results when making jams, preserves, toffee and caramel. This thermometer measures sugar temperatures from 40°C to 200°C and has recommended zones for the various sugar cooking points.
To avoid possible damage to this instrument do not insert straight into hot liquids, rather allow it to warm up in the pan.
After use allow the thermometer to cool slowly on a dry surface before hand washing in warm water.
Do not use this thermometer in the oven.
